Indexation modes
This guide explains the different indexation modes and how they determine which products and offers are online in the catalogue.
What Is an Indexation Mode
An indexation mode defines how products and offers are selected and processed during catalogue indexation in order to be considered online. (example, based on the presence of a price, stock availability, or offer status)
Configuration
Indexation modes cannot be configured manually from the back office. If you need to change the indexation mode applied to your store or store view, please contact the support team for assistance.
Indexation Modes
There are four standard indexation modes available.
1. Products With Price and Stock
(INDEX_OFFERS_WITH_PRICE_AND_STOCK)
A product is online only if it has at least one active offer, with both a valid price and positive stock level.
If no such offer exists, the product will not appear online.
2. With Price - Allowing Products Without Stock
(INDEX_OFFERS_WITH_PRICE)
In this mode, products are considered online if they have at least one active offer with a valid price.
If no stock is available the product will still be visible.
3. With Offer - Allowing no Price
(INDEX_OFFERS_WITHOUT_PRICE)
In this mode, the product is considered online even if the offer does not have a price defined.
4. Products Without Offers
(PRODUCT_ONLY)
This mode allows products to be indexed and displayed even if they have no offer attached.
Offers, when they exist, are still included in the index, but their presence is not required for the product to go online.

Best Practices
Choose the mode that fits your environment:
- Ensure data consistency before switching modes: Review your product, offer, and supplier data to make sure all necessary information (price, stock, and active status) is complete before changing the mode.
- Plan mode changes carefully: Any modification to the indexation mode requires a full indexation to apply the new rules. Schedule these changes during off-peak hours to avoid impacting performance.
