A product tag is a label attached to a product used to identify, group, filter, or search products.

Create product tags

Product tags do not define related products.

1. Click Settings → Catalog and offer management → Product tags.

2. Click + Add tag.

3. Give the tag a name and click Create.

Update product tags

It is possible to update product tags in the back office.

Only the name of a product tag can be updated.

To update a product tag, click the update icon located next to the tag in the product tags list.

Delete product tags

It is possible to delete product tags in the back office.

To delete a product tag, click the update icon located next to the tag in the product tags list

Product tags that have been assigned to at least one product can not be deleted.
You need to unassign the tags from the product(s) before deleting them.

Assign Product Tag to a product

There are two ways to add a tag to a product :

Product details page

1. Go to Catalog → Product List.
2. Select the product you want to tag.
3. On the product details page, under the Tags section, select the name(s) of the available tag(s) to add them.

Product list page

1. Go to Catalog → Product List.
2. Select one or multiple products from the list (using the checkbox)
3. Click on More and select "Assign tags"
4. Choose the product tag you want to assign

Unassign Product Tag

There are two ways to remove a tag to from product :

Product details page

In the products details page, under the Tags section, select the name(s) of the available tag(s) to remove them from your product.

Product list page

1. Go to Catalog → Product List.
2. Select one or multiple products from the list (using the checkbox)
3. Click on More and select "Unassign tags"
4. Choose the product tag you want to unassign
