Configure a FTP Connector

The FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Connector allows secure file transfers between an external server and the DJUST platform. With this Connector, users can safely import and export files, ensuring efficient synchronization with third-party systems


Prerequisites

Before configuring a FTP Connector, make sure you have the following:

  • A FTP server to store the files needed for imports/exports.
  • A FTP Connector software (e.g., FileZilla) to manage file transfers.
  • Connection information:
    • Hostname
    • Port
    • Username and password

Configure a FTP Connector in DJUST

Create a FTP Connector

Step 1 – Access the Data Hub

  • Go to the Data Hub page from the DJUST back office.

  • Click on Configure a new Connector.

  • Select the Connector type and choose SFTP Connector.

Step 2 – Configure Connection Settings

  • Connection name
  • Host (server address)
  • Port
  • Username & password

FTPs/SFTP

You can enable SFTP by switching on the toggle.

Toggle Off 🔴 -> FTPs (TLS)
Toggle On 🟢 -> SFTP (FTP over SSH)

Step 3 – Test and Save

  • If the toggle is enabled, you can click on Test connection to verify access to the FTP server.
    • ✅ If the test is successful, click Save to finalize the Connector configuration.
    • ❌ If the test fails, double-check the configuration:

Manage a FTP Connector

Once your FTP Connector is created, you can manage it from the Data Hub interface:

  • Go to the Data Hub page
  • Select Connector
  • Choose the connection you want to edit

Update a FTP Connector Configuration

  • Modify the desired settings (e.g., host, credentials, port)
  • Click Save to apply your changes

Activate, Disable or Delete a FTP Connector

  • Click More actions and choose the desired option:
    • Activate: to enable the Connector
    • Disable: to temporarily deactivate it
    • Delete. Click Delete and confirm to permanently remove the Connector (⚠️ This action is irreversible).
